Thermoforming
The process of heating and shaping synthetic material call thermoforming is an increasingly popular way to utilize solid surface to create 3-D curves and rounded shapes.
Other popular surfacing materials like quartz and granite cannot be used to thermoform. The ability to thermoform has made solid surface a favorite three dimensional artistic pallet for designers everywhere.
The materials brands we carry like Corian, LG Hi-Macs, Formica, Durasein, Wilsonart and more can all be heated as necessary to thermoform.
On the surface (and otherwise), thermoforming is cool.
